I know it's the middle of the summer, but I have been working on two knitting projects that just so happen to use heavy wool. But since they are both almost done, it's too tempting to work on them than to put them down!
One is a wool pea coat that I will be felting when it is finished to give it a sturdy, well, pea coat feel. The other is a sweater called "Oatmeal Pullover" that I have taken it upon myself to modify into a cardigan! I've shortened the sleeves, created a non-buttoned button band (if that makes any sense at all) and will be looking in the near future for the perfect sweater pin! I've never used one, but know that Etsy is probably teaming with great pins.
